Objective To investigate the main clinical features of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes mellitus, and to analyze the effect of controlling blood sugar on the curative effect. Methods From May 2013 to July 2015, 55 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes in our hospital were selected as the research object, and as the research group, the clinical information of 55 cases of simple tuberculosis disease in the same period were selected for comparison As a control group, the clinical information of two groups of patients was analyzed retrospectively to explore the clinical features of pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes and to analyze its curative effect. Results In terms of clinical features, hemoptysis occurred in 38 patients (69.09%) in the study group, 36 (65.46%) patients had combined infection, and 29 patients (52.73%) developed cavitation. In contrast group In 12 (21.32%) patients, hemoptysis occurred. Fifteen patients (27.27%) had combined infection, and 19 patients (34.55%) developed cavitation. The study group of patients in the incidence of clinical symptoms was significantly higher than the control group of patients, which is the main clinical features of tuberculosis combined with diabetes. In the treatment of disease, after the treatment of blood sugar control, the study group patients in the incidence of the above clinical symptoms have been significantly improved, indicating that the treatment of blood glucose control tuberculosis with diabetes have a good effect. Conclusion The main clinical features of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis complicated with diabetes mellitus include hemoptysis, co-infection, and cavity formation. The treatment of patients with glycemic control can significantly improve the symptoms of patients and improve their physical and mental health.
