在社会主义国家,只有广泛地开展公民教育,推行民主政治的意义才可能被充分认识,各种民主的活动才可能被积极的参与,社会主义民主政治才可能真正实现。而社会主义民主政治又规定公民教育的内涵,并发挥公民教育的功能,民主政治与公民教育是互动的。社会主义公民教育,应当建立和完善市场经济体制,为公民教育提供必要的经济基础;积极培育公民社会,为公民教育提供社会基础;完善社会主义民主政治制度,为公民教育创造良好的政治环境;充分利用各种资源和手段,逐步完善公民教育的自身机制。
Only in a socialist country can we be fully aware of the importance of civic education and the promotion of democratic politics so that all kinds of democratic activities may be actively involved and socialist democratic politics can truly be realized. The socialist democratic politics also stipulates the connotation of civic education and gives full play to the functions of civic education. Democracy and civic education are interactive. Socialist citizen education should establish and perfect the market economy system and provide the necessary economic foundation for civic education. It should actively cultivate civil society and provide the social foundation for civic education. We should perfect the socialist democratic political system and create a good political environment for civic education. Make full use of various resources and means to gradually improve the mechanism of civic education.
