在以运动补偿和变换为框架的视频编码算法中,运动搜索和变换是占用编码时间最多的模块。为降低运算量,提出了一种H.26L编码方法的最佳全零块判决运动矢量搜索算法。该算法在运动估值的同时判决出零块,节省了大量位移搜索和变换量化的时间。测试结果表明,改进算法加快了编码器运动搜索的速度,减少了变换编码和量化的时间,在PSNR(峰值信噪比)保持相同甚至略有提高的情况下,编码时间最多可减少77%,对背景基本不变的简单运动图像的改善最为显著。
In the video encoding algorithm which uses motion compensation and transform as the frame, motion search and transform occupy the most encoding time module. In order to reduce the computational complexity, a best all-zero decision motion vector search algorithm for H.26L coding is proposed. The algorithm judges the zero block while motion estimation, saving a lot of time for searching and transforming quantization. The test results show that the improved algorithm can speed up the motion search of the encoder and reduce the time of transform coding and quantization. The coding time can be reduced by up to 77% at the same or even slightly improved PSNR (peak signal-noise ratio) The most noticeable improvements have been made to simple moving images with essentially unchanged background.
