马尾松无性繁殖目前除用嫁接方法外尚无其它有效方法。随着大面积良种基地的建立,嫁接已成为无性系种子园营建的主要方法。但是,马尾松嫁接成活较其它树种难度大,往往因为嫁接成活率低而赔误建园工程顺利进行。我们经过几年来反复试验探索,发现“小砧嫩梢嫁接法”比“大砧老枝嫁接法”有较多的优点: (1)能大幅度提高成活率、保存率(成活率80%以上,保存率100%): (2)穗条丰富,无针叶,蒸腾量小,方便保鲜运输; (3)当年可解绑剪砧,接穗继续生长,当年可形成独立嫁接株; (4)不留或少留哺养枝,方便管理,节约成本;
