肉毒毒素的基本特性肉毒毒素是由厌氧性梭状芽孢菌产生的,有7个血清型(A、B、C1、C2、D、E、F),属于神经毒。肉毒毒素中毒的症状为神经肌肉麻痹,致使呼吸衰竭,直至死亡。在7种血清型肉毒毒素中,A型肉毒毒素对人类的毒性最大,被认为是最危险的一种毒素。肉毒杆菌毒素A的吸入致死剂量为每人0.3微克,口服致死剂量为每人2微克,其毒性比化学毒剂中VX和沙林毒气分别强1.5万倍和1万倍,其分子质量约为15万道尔顿的蛋白质。
