After the release of two Kung Fu Pandas released by the United States with Chinese characteristics, the global box office soared, especially after the screening in China, which aroused widespread discussion. On the one hand, the film partially meets the Chinese aesthetic psychology in terms of narration and role shaping, and has succeeded in deducing the Chinese elements. On the other hand, the cultural kernel and the cultural identity of the protagonist Bao are widely debated. This article will first analyze the Chinese elements contained in the film and then expound the American culture reflected in the film from aspects such as “Defamiliarization ”, American “Individual Heroism ” and “Identity ” Values, designed to show that “Kung Fu Panda 2” is actually packaged with Chinese elements to promote the cultural values of the United States, and finally will reflect on the development of Chinese culture in the context of globalization.
