Kerry McKinney, a tall, gentle man with a soft, gentle gaze in brown eyes and a thick beard. It seems difficult for these people to find the features that Olympians should have. However, he is the 1983 World’s Archery Championship men’s all-around champion, men’s 50-meter archery world record holder, the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games won the highest call for the magic of the Archer. McGinney, a fourth grader in the Department of Physical Education at Arizona State University, is 30 years old and has been involved in archery for almost 20 years. However, he has really made achievements in recent years. He likes to quote the remark that the first successful person will eventually encounter more difficulties. He said: “Although I spent many years at the pinnacle of archery, I learned a lot and if I had a good time from the start, I would not be able to overcome them when I was in trouble.”
