Long Habitat is a village with long-horned seedlings, deep in the mountains at the junction of six counties, Zhijin and Nayong, in the northwest of Guizhou. The exact name of the Miao is called “Miao Miao”. The reason why people are called “Miao Miao” is because men and women there use a long-horned comb and deceased ancestor’s hair with a black hairstring Into a huge bun, hanging heavy overhead. There are more than 4,000 long-horned seedlings, and in the twelve stockade heads of high mountains, very few outsiders enter. In 1995, the Norwegian John Jester Dragon came here. Two years later, the Chinese government and the Norwegian government jointly set up the Asia’s first ecological museum, the Guizhou Liusuokang Ecological Museum.
