新世纪以来,随着世界石油需求日益增长和石油价格急速攀升,以沙特阿拉伯为代表的海湾产油国依靠源源不断的石油出口收入积累了巨额的石油美元。日益庞大的石油美元规模已经使沙特阿拉伯等海合会国家成为全球资本输出的重要来源地,巨额石油美元长期投资欧美金融市场,为海湾国家带来了可观的财富。随着金融危机的爆发,石油美元在欧债和美债危机中回报平平。另一方面,中国、印度等新兴市场国家的吸引力正在增强,石油美元向东流渐成趋势。
Since the new century, with the increasing oil demand in the world and the rapid rise in oil prices, the Gulf oil producing countries represented by Saudi Arabia have accumulated huge amounts of oil dollars by relying on the steady flow of oil exports. The ever-large oil dollar scale has already made Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries an important source of global capital output. Huge oil dollars have long invested in European and American financial markets, bringing considerable wealth to the Gulf countries. With the outbreak of the financial crisis, the oil dollar returned flat in the debt crisis in Europe and the United States. On the other hand, the attractiveness of emerging market countries such as China and India is on the rise. The petroleum-oil dollar is gradually becoming more and more trendy.
