夹纻造像工艺是我国独有的漆器制作工艺。河南省洛阳白马寺的元代夹纻干漆佛像,堪称中华珍宝,驰名中外。脱胎夹纻造像工艺始于战国,在两晋南北朝时期得到发展。至于用漆塑造佛教形象,与其他材质的佛像一样,是在汉魏之后开始,并在唐代大量流行。夹纻是一种古老的大漆技艺,本文从脱胎夹纻造像来源、工艺、特点和唐代夹纻造像的原由等方面探究洛阳白马寺中的夹纻造像,为相关工艺的研究提供一定的借鉴与理论。
