一、前言在钱塘江下游两岸,我局于一九六九年首先利用沉井作海塘丁坝坝头保护获得成功之后,萧山、绍兴等县在建造桥梁、涵闸、电力排灌站等水工建筑物时,便广泛应用沉井作基础,效果良好。一九七四年八月,受第十三号台风影响,钱塘江出现风暴潮,水位猛涨,造成萧山、绍兴等县部份新围垦的海涂围堤溃决,许多水工建筑物严重破坏。事后,在萧山、绍兴等地调查,发现用沉井作基础的水闸、桥梁等建筑物,受海潮袭击后,大都完好无损;不用沉井作基础的建筑物,冲毁倒坍的较多。所以,利用沉井作沿海、河口水工建筑物基础是安全可靠的。

In August 1974, Typhoon Thirteen affected a storm surge in the Qiantang River and the water level soared. As a result, some newly reclaimed land reclamation embankments in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing counties were broken and many hydraulic structures were seriously damaged. Afterwards, investigations in Xiaoshan and Shaoxing found that most of the sluices, bridges and other buildings based on the sunken wells were mostly intact after they were attacked by the tide. Most of the buildings without caisson were destroyed and collapsed. Therefore, the use of sunk well for coastal, estuarine hydraulic foundation is safe and reliable.
