在湖北省的西部,沿着三国、三峡旅游线觅去,有一林荫覆地、绿草茵茵,富饶而美丽的土地,这就是国家级生态建设示范区——远安县。这里,风景秀美,景色怡人,历史悠久,宗教文化底蕴十分丰厚,早在公元502年就建有道教宫观。目前,县域境内有道教和基督教两种宗教,鸣凤山道观是经县政府批准开放的唯一宗教活动场所,在宜昌周边地区和荆沙地区拥有众多信教群众。
In the western part of Hubei Province, along the tourist routes of the Three Kingdoms and the Three Gorges, there is a covered, green grass, fertile and beautiful land, which is the national ecological construction demonstration zone - Yuan’an County. Here, beautiful scenery, pleasant scenery, a long history and religious culture is very rich, as early as the year 502 AD built Taoist temple. At present, there are Taoist and Christian religions in the county territory. Mingfongshan Taoist Temple is the only place for religious activities approved by the county government. There are many religious believers in the surrounding areas of Yichang and Jingsha.
