为了解决运输与建筑机械中的螺旋伞齿轮生产问题,我站在成都工学院和四川省机械工业局研究设计院的协助下,进行了高强度球铁直接精铸试验。在造型、冶炼、加工等方面,现已掌握一些规律,成品逐步稳定。解放车路试,截至本报告时,38号载重车已行驶27971公里,7号自卸车已行驶16283公里,均无异常现象。所试验的球铁,抗拉强度可稳定在100公斤/毫米~2以上,冲击韧性在4~5公斤·米/厘米~2以上,均接近18铬锰钛钢的指标,只是疲劳强度差些。但据研究,钒系高强度球铁的疲劳强度亦已接近40公斤/毫米~2。作为齿轮材料,高强度球墨铸铁具备钢材所没有的性能,其中较突出的是易磨合性,高的抗压比
