In May 1999, we interviewed Mr. Ichiro Mizuteo, general manager of Hefei Hitachi Excavator Co., Ltd., who has continuously achieved sales top in the domestic excavator market.[1] Taking into account the better investment environment in Shanghai, quick information transfer, convenient transportation, and various facilities in the bonded area, Hitachi Construction Machinery will transfer the functions of nationwide sales to Hitachi Construction Machinery (Shanghai) in the second half of 2000.
