H.264/AVC是当前流行的视频编码标准,具有出色的编码性能,但在复杂度方面有所欠缺。提出了一种低复杂度的编码算法,以数学模型取代复杂熵编码,简化代价函数的计算,从而节省最佳预测模式的选择时间。算法基于JM8.6实现,实验结果表明,对于典型的视频序列,算法复杂度比JM8.6显著降低,大约可节省43.37%的时间,与已有的优化算法相比复杂度有进一步降低,同时保证PSNR和比特率无较明显变化。
H.264 / AVC is the current popular video coding standard, with excellent coding performance, but lacking in complexity. A low complexity coding algorithm is proposed, which replaces the complex entropy coding with the mathematical model and simplifies the calculation of the cost function, so as to save the selection time of the best prediction mode. The algorithm is implemented based on JM8.6. The experimental results show that the complexity of the proposed algorithm is significantly lower than that of JM8.6 for typical video sequences, saving about 43.37% of the time and reducing the complexity compared with the existing optimization algorithms. Meanwhile, PSNR and ensure no significant change in bit rate.
