辽宁省中医药研究院(辽宁中医学院第二附属医院)创建于1978年,坐落在风光秀丽、空气清新的沈阳市北陵公园西门对面,是一所集医药科研、医疗和教学于一体的省级综合性医疗机构。医院占地面积1．9万平方米,建筑面积3万平方米,开设病床320张,市区内下设三个门诊部,是辽宁省和沈阳市首批基本医疗保险定点医院。医院现有在职职工521人,其中博士研究生导师2名,硕士研究生导师12名,国家级名老中医4名,享受政府特殊津贴专家8名,副高职以上专家98人。医院设有心血管、脑血管、普外科、脑外科、骨科、养生康复中心、肿瘤科等病区；门诊有名医堂、内、外、妇、儿、咳喘中心、骨伤、碎石、甲状腺、口腔、耳鼻喉、肛肠、皮肤等临床科室30余个；医院急诊室具有完善的绿色通道,拥有一支技术全面、业务精良的医护人员。
