Shortening the Cycle One of the greatest characteristics of the post-war American economic development is the shortening of the cycle of its economic crisis. If the 1943-46 crisis that occurred at the end of the war ended with no exception, the United States has had three economic crises in the short span of more than 10 years after the war, averaging only about four years per cycle and an average of ten before the war Up and down. This fact fully shows that under the condition of the deepening deepening of the general crisis of capitalism, the fundamental contradictions inherent in the capitalism in the United States have become more and more acute. It is even difficult to maintain relative stability.
