2009年5月22日瑞典出版的动物学报(Acta Zo-ologica)90卷增刊选编了2007年在瑞典乌普沙拉(Uppsala)召开的11届早期脊椎动物国际研讨会的部分论文,其中包括中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所王念忠研究员和甘肃省博物馆张行研究员等撰写的论文“中国西北晚二叠世新的、完整的弓鲛类”。在陆相地层发现的这一弓鲛类化石被命名为东生甘肃鲨(Gunsuselache tungshengi),以资纪念已故的著名地质学家刘东生院士。这是我国乃至亚洲首次发现的完整的软骨鱼类化石,
22 May 2009 Bulletin of the 90th issue of Acta Zoologica published in Sweden Selected Selected Papers for the 11th International Symposium on Early Vertebrates held in 2007 in Uppsala, Sweden, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences Wang Nianzhong, researcher of the Institute of Vertebrate and Paleoanthropology, and Zhang Xing, a researcher at the Gansu Provincial Museum, wrote an essay titled “A New and Complete Archeology of Late Permian in Northwest China.” The goby fossil discovered in the continental strata was named Gunsuselache tungshengi to commemorate the late renowned geologist Liu Dongsheng. This is the first complete cartilaginous fish fossil found in China and even in Asia.
