Objective: To explore the application value of dynamic EEG and routine EEG in viral encephalitis. Methods: One hundred and fifty patients with viral encephalitis were randomly divided into two groups, 75 cases in each group. Conventional electroencephalography (EEG) was performed in the routine electroencephalogram (REEG) group. The dynamic electroencephalogram Figure examination; observe and record the abnormal rate of EEG, EEG abnormalities in varying degrees of the number of cases, evaluation of dynamic EEG and conventional EEG detection sensitivity and accuracy of viral encephalitis. Results: The EEG abnormalities detected in AEEG group were significantly higher than those in REEG group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the proportion of patients with different degrees of EEG (F = -0.085, P> 0.05). In REEG group, there was no significant difference between mild and moderate viral encephalitis (P> 0.05), but there was no significant difference between moderate and severe viral encephalitis P> 0.05), the detection rate of severe viral encephalitis was significantly higher than mild (P <0.05). In the AEEG group, there was no significant difference in the detection rate of moderate and moderate viral encephalitis (P> 0.05), and the detection rate of severe viral encephalitis was significantly higher than that of moderate and mild AEEG (P <0.05 ). The detection rate of severe viral encephalitis in AEEG group was significantly higher than that in REEG group (P <0.05). Conclusion: EEG as a noninvasive test has excellent detection rate and high sensitivity for viral encephalitis, and is suitable for the early diagnosis of viral meningitis.
