Over the last 30 years the European Union (EU) has established a wide range of detailed laws concerning the welfare of farm animals. 在过去的30多年,欧盟就农场动物福利问题建立了一系列法律条约。The EU laws establish certain welfare standards for animals on-farm, during transport and at slaughter. They also prohibit certain aspects of industrial animal production as these are regarded as inhumane. 欧盟的法律为农场动物的养殖,运输与屠宰设立了相关的福利标准,同时,还禁止了工业化动物生产中的一些做法,这些做法都被视为“非人道”。
Over the last 30 years the European Union (EU) has established a wide range of laws concerning the welfare of farm animals. Over the past 30 years, the EU has established a series of legal treaties on farm animal welfare. The EU laws establish a welfare standards for animals on-farm, during transport and at slaughter. They also prohibit certain aspects of industrial animal production as these are regarded as inhumane. EU Law establishes the correlation between farm animal breeding, transport and slaughter Welfare standards, while some of the practices in industrialized animal production are also forbidden, all of which are considered “inhumane.”
