自从Nester的关于相控阵雷达波束指向误差问题的早期文献发表以来,有关这方面新进展的文献很少。本文所进行的分析,通过消除小量值相位误差、误差正态分布和均匀照射的限制,第一次扩展了Nester的研究工作。接着,对宽带性能进行了评价,并发现宽带性能相对于窄带来说有所下降。与宽带波形相联系的波束指向精度的损失与色散损失有着简单的关系。最后,对于具有不同相关级别的误差之间的相互作用进行了讨论.本文的结果使人们对相位和幅度误差、误差分布、信号带宽以及阵列结构对波束指向精度的影响有了深入的了解.
Since Nester’s earlier literature on the beam pointing error of phased array radars, there has been little literature on recent advances in this area. The analysis carried out in this paper extends Nester’s work for the first time by eliminating the limitations of small-value phase errors, normal distribution of errors and uniform illumination. Then, the performance of broadband was evaluated and it was found that the performance of broadband decreased with respect to narrowband. The loss of beam pointing accuracy associated with broadband waveforms has a simple relationship to dispersion loss. Finally, the interactions between errors with different correlation levels are discussed.The results in this paper provide insight into the effects of phase and amplitude errors, error distribution, signal bandwidth, and array structure on beam pointing accuracy.
