Tea is the most popular drink in the world. Tea tree due to a large number of pests and hazards need to apply a lot of pesticides. In view of the increasing public concern about food safety, this paper studied the residues of 7 pesticides in black tea and their residues in the tea through brewing tea. Pesticide residues in black tea are 0.18-1.90 mg / kg, of which only a portion can enter the body and ingested. Taking tea brewing factors into account, the amount of pesticide residues entering the body through drinking tea is only 0.1% of the daily allowable intake of Indians. This comprehensive assessment of brewing factors will facilitate the development of realistic maximum pesticide residue limits in tea.
