近几年来,随着农村经济的巨大变化,农村业余戏剧活动十分活跃,创作演出了很多反映党的十一届三中全会以来农村新风貌的优秀剧目。文化部为了扶植农村业余戏剧创作,推动业余创作活动进一步繁荣,于今年6月举行首届全国农村业余戏剧创作评奖。为了做好这次评奖工作,全国各地群众文化系统的戏剧干部,根据文化部的要求,分别举行了调演评比、层层选拔,选择有修改基础的剧本进行辅导培训。经过一年的努力,有二十六个省市、自治区共选送了七十个剧本
