丁石孙教授: 朱德熙先生过早地离开了我们,我感到万分悲痛,当我知道这个消息时,不但悲痛,还感到极其震惊。朱先生是我尊敬的一位朋友,又是我多年的同事,他也是一位优秀的民盟老盟员,今天我以朋友的身份同时代表民盟中央表达我们对朱先生的怀念。我1950年在清华大学毕业,那个时候朱先生已在清华工作了,1952年我们又一起到了北京大学,我比朱先生年轻得多,所以很早就知道朱先生的名字,但是并不认识他。我记得我第一次跟他见面是1980年,当时朱先生要到美国斯坦福大学讲学,有位朋友委托我去见朱先生为他在美国讲学安排房子。但是我真正和朱先生相交,是在1984年,我们一起做学校的领导工作以后,这以后我们相处就多了,我对朱先生的为人也就了解得更深,而且我们建立了非常诚挚的友谊。
Professor Ding Shisun: Mr. Chu Te-hee left us too early. I feel extremely saddened. When I heard the news, I was not only saddened but also extremely shocked. Mr. Zhu, a distinguished friend of mine and my colleague for many years, is also an outstanding former member of the League of the League of Nations. Today, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Democratic League, I am, as a friend, expressing my memory of Miss Chu. I graduated from Tsinghua University in 1950, at which time Mr. Zhu was already working in Tsinghua University. In 1952, we went to Peking University again. I was much younger than Mr. Zhu. So I knew Mr. Chu’s name very early but did not know him . I remember the first time I met him in 1980, when Mr. Zhu was going to give a lecture at Stanford University in the United States. A friend entrusted me to see Mr. Zhu arranging a house for him to give lectures in the United States. But I really met Mr. Zhu. After we worked together as a school leadership in 1984, we got along better and I knew more about Mr. Zhu and we also established a very sincere friendship. .
