(一)东线方案南水北调东线从长江下游扬州附近引水,大体上沿京杭运河逐级抽水北送,联通洪泽湖、骆马湖、南四湖和东平湖,在位山附近与黄河立体交叉,过黄河后,仍沿京杭运河自流到天津,全线长一千一百五十公里,其中黄河以南约六百六十公里,黄河以北四百九十公里,穿黄处水位约高于长江水位四十米,设十五个梯级抽水(另设三级季节性抽水站),总扬程约六十五米。长江边第一级站抽水一千秒立米,过黄河六百秒立米。规划中比较了三种不同年型的抽江规模与各河段输水流量。
(I) East Route The South Route of South-to-North Water Diversion Project draws water from the vicinity of Yangzhou in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. In general, it pumps along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in a step-by-step manner.
