批判性思维能力是二语学习者的五项基本技能之一,也是语言学习者应该掌握的比较重要的思维能力。大学英语教学经历了数次改革之后获得了长足发展,但是诸多改革对学生批判性思维能力的关注不尽如人意。本文以武汉大学研究生英语课堂为例,简要概述了国内外关于批判性思维能力研究的阶段性成果,借鉴思维能力层级理论,构建了大学英语教学批判性思维能力的培养模式,该模式包括营造课堂气氛、提高自主学习能力、改革评价方式等。通过该模式的构建,笔者希望英语教学真正培养出语言技能和思维能力均优秀的外语学习者。
Critical thinking ability is one of the five basic skills of second language learners and also a more important thinking ability that language learners should master. After years of reform, college English teaching has made great strides, but many reforms have not paid close attention to students’ critical thinking ability. Taking the graduate English classroom in Wuhan University as an example, this article gives a brief overview of the stage results of critical thinking at home and abroad, and draws lessons from the theory of thinking ability level to construct a training mode of critical thinking ability in college English teaching. This mode includes: Atmosphere, improve their ability to learn independently, reform evaluation methods. Through the construction of this mode, I hope that English teaching can truly cultivate foreign language learners who are excellent in both language skills and thinking skills.
