Objective: To investigate the correlation between carotid artery plaque and serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and glycosylated hemoglobin (Hb Alc) in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: A total of 84 patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage admitted to our hospital from May 2013 to January 2015 were randomly selected. All patients were divided into simple intracerebral hemorrhage (n = 25) and mild Atherosclerosis group (n = 34) and severe atherosclerosis group (n = 25) three groups, the other selected the same period in our hospital 50 healthy subjects (control group). The levels of fasting blood glucose (FPG), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein (LDL), high density lipoprotein (HDL), hs-CRP And Hb Alc levels, analysis of risk factors for carotid plaque in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage. Results: The differences of IMT, TC, TG, HDL, LDL, hs-CRP and Hb Alc between the four groups were statistically significant (P <0.05). The levels of hs-CRP and Hb Alc in the group of mild intracerebral hemorrhage There was a positive correlation between IMT, hs-CRP and Hb Alc (r = 0.388, 0.420, P <0.05), while IMT, hs-CRP and Hb Alc were all significantly higher in atherosclerosis group than in severe atherosclerosis group (P <0.05) Carotid atherosclerosis risk factors (OR = 3.065,1.978,1.647, P <0.05). Conclusion: The levels of hs-CRP and Hb Alc in patients with acute intracerebral hemorrhage are risk factors of carotid plaque formation.
