This article briefly discusses the basis of the main application of sound waves to study the explosion of rock mass, blasting rock mass sounding method and the results obtained. This paper focuses on the analysis of the relationship between the P-wave velocity and the explosive nature of rock mass and the criteria for the classification of rock mass explosion based on sound waves.
