可伸缩视频编码(SVC)技术作为下一代视频编码国际标准中的关键技术,正成为领域研究热点.其中层间空域插值算法的效率将直接影响空间可伸缩性方面的编码性能.文中提出了一种基于图像分量自适应的层间空域插值算法.新算法以人眼视觉系统所固有的分辨率差异识别特性为理论出发点,采用区别图像分量的上采样滤波器设计,力求在保持算法插值精度的同时降低计算复杂度.理论分析和实验结果表明.与非自适应算法相比,新算法能够节省一半左右的算法执行时间,并保持空间可伸缩性的RD编码性能基本不变,可有效地应用到支持空间可伸缩性的视频编码技术中去.
