In 2009, the cultural relics investigation team of Ruian City found more than 40 stone pagodas in Song Dynasty under the site of Xingfu Temple in high-rise buildings. The initial textual research was the stone pagoda of the former Xingfu Temple - the plugged stone structure of the Song Dynasty. Tower body was hexagonal plane, by the two Xu Mizuo, Liu Lugua belly tower belly, imitation wood tower eaves and tower brake four major components. The plug-in small stone tower in Song Dynasty prevailed in Zhejiang and Fujian Provinces, and few survivors were able to save the examples of the seven-tower regulation completely. However, the stone tower engraved with the seven-Buddha name was even scarcer. The discovery of the stone pagoda of Xingfu Temple not only enriches the contents of southern Zhejiang Buddhist culture, but also is an important material for studying the statues of Qifu stone pagodas, folk stone carvings and Buddhism in the Jiangnan area in the Song Dynasty.
