Editor’s Note: Recently, the list of the 20th best engineering achievement ranked by the US Institute of Engineering was ranked 20th with agricultural mechanization ranked the seventh. In their view, in the past 100 years, the development and application of agricultural mechanization changed American agriculture and changed the fate of world agriculture. We believe that in the new century, the development and application of various agricultural technologies extended by agricultural mechanization in China will completely change the fate of China’s traditional agriculture and 900 million Chinese peasants.
