根据冶金工业部科技司稀土开发应用项目合同计划,由河北机电学院承担的“稀土铁基粉末热锻(针阀体)材料及工艺研究”课题,于1987年9月23日通过省级鉴定。材料冷热加工工艺性能良好,针阀体和喷油嘴偶件质量检查项目均达到部颁标准(JB/NQ109.1—86)一等品要求;淬火一时效后,硬度为HRC55—62,材料中碳化物颗粒大小为0.12mm,残余奥氏体量为0.3%,具有高的耐磨性和良好的尺寸稳定性;使用寿命平均为1769.8小时,超过部颁标准(JB/NQ109.1—86为1500小时)。
