中药是中国特产,看似土生土长,其实,它也不断吸收外来“营养”。汉魏时期,曾从西域引进不少药物,在中药家族中,特意为这些新成员加上胡字作为标识,如胡桃、胡芦巴、胡萝卜等。南北朝以后,东南海路开通,又从海上传入许多药物,这些新品种都是“海”字辈兄弟,如:海枣、海棠、海桐皮等。宋、元、明、清各个历史时期,从域外吸收而进入中药大家庭的就更多了。按时间先后而言,先引进的称“番”或“舶”,后引进的称“洋”,如番泻叶、舶乳香、洋姜、洋参等。中药经过加工制作,一般有丸、汤、散、
Traditional Chinese medicine is a specialty of China. It seems to be a native of China. In fact, it is constantly absorbing foreign “nutrition”.
