Parabiosis is a classic experimental model of fluid transfer. We intend to use this model to explore the role of humoral transmission mechanisms in compensatory kidney growth. To combine two or more animals surgically and survive together, the animal’s selection needs to be fairly stringent, with some genetic differences that can lead to pooled toxicity and failed the experiment. Historically, scholars have emphasized the importance of purebred mating and multi-generational littermates when using this experimental mode. Therefore, laboratories without purebred animals are bound to be unable to utilize this experimental mode. For example, multiple generations of littermates , It is more non-short time can be covered.
