小麦吸浆虫是一种毁灭性害虫。近几年来,受多种因素的影响,河北辛集市小麦吸浆虫发生面积不断扩大,小麦吸浆虫以幼虫危害小麦花器和吸食麦粒的浆液,造成秕粒、空壳而导致小麦减产,一般损失10%～20%;严重的减产40%～80%,甚至绝收,已成为影响小麦高产、稳产的主要因素之一。
