四、向多方位辐射的艺术家 影剧生涯近半个世纪,孙道临 从1939年算起,到1959年共演出过 三十五部话剧;从1948年至现在, 拍摄了二十多部影片,又为二十部 外国影片做过翻译、导演或配音;并为英国文学名著《呼啸山庄》编译过话剧本,翻译了美国著名演员蓓蒂·戴维斯主演的反法西斯名片《守望莱茵》的电影文学剧本。他应美国的邀请,在大学里讲过表演艺术课;在多次出国的活动中,受到热烈的欢迎和赞扬。他是一位具有独特风格的、多才多艺的艺术家。因此我们把他称之为向多方位辐射的艺术家。
