In the past five years, a new type of cooling tower has emerged, namely the jet cooling tower. Its main feature is that it does not use conventional basic components such as fans, motors and filler layers. At the same time, there have also been significant improvements in second-generation cooling towers. Figure 1 shows the principle of the cooling tower. The required amount of air is induced by the cooling water introduced by the nozzle at the inlet of the unit. The effective mixing of air and water allows evaporation without the need for fillers. The cooling water falls into the sink and is then pumped out of the cold water pump for recycling. In order to ensure that the nozzles work well, the water is filtered through a double filtration system. The water droplets brought into the saturated return air are removed by the water deflector, and the return air is discharged upward through the guide plate. This is achieved through a separate set of power outside the cooling tower, namely a chilled water pump.
