多元,是香港中小学给人的第一印象。办学主体多元,学校类别多元,校本课程多元,智能开发多元,社会助教多元……都为香港基础教育的多元特征做了注脚。与多元的办学相呼应,香港中小学的校园活动也丰富多彩。艺术活动经常有,体育运动不间断,家政课上学手艺,校园走廊展风采。内地校长实地了解后,把香港学校的特点归结为:“办得鲜活,玩得尽兴,学得愉快。”
Multiple, is the first impression given by primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. The multiple subjects of schools, the diversified school categories, the diversified school-based curriculum, the diversified development of intelligence, and the diversity of social teaching assistants all make footnotes to the multiple characteristics of Hong Kong’s basic education. Echoing with the diversified schools, the activities of schools in Hong Kong’s primary and secondary schools are also rich and colorful. Often artistic activities, sports uninterrupted, home economics class skills, campus corridor exhibition style. After learning from the facts on the ground, the principal of the Mainland summarized the characteristics of Hong Kong schools into: “Doing something fresh, having fun and learning well.”
