稀土三元或多元络合物的研究,是近年来国内外在稀土光度分析领域中的一个新进展。以三苯甲烷类染料为配位体的稀土三元或多元络合物的主要特点是灵敏度高,摩尔吸光系数可达10~5以上。但络合反应大多在中性或弱酸性介质中进行,反应选择性不够高,因而实际应用受到一定限制。以偶氮类试剂为配位体的稀土多元络合物,如镧系元素——偶氮氯膦Ⅲ——阳离子表面活性剂的络合体系,可在酸性介质中进行反应,抗干扰能力比较
