随着改革开放的提出和进一步推进,各种资本主义腐朽思想一拥而入,致使部分党员贪污腐败、以权谋私、权钱交易等现象严重。邓小平在总结毛泽东治党思想的同时,从当前实际出发提出了要注重制度治党,强化党纪管党,始终用改革的精神来推进从严治党。从而极大地丰富和发展了马克思主义党建学说,具有重大的时代价值。
