施威特曼石是表生环境中常见的微纳米矿物,有着重要的环境指示作用和修复重金属污染的应用潜力。对在FeCl3 6H2O和Na2SO4合成体系中生成的施威特曼石经透析和老化处理后的产物进行了矿物学表征,结果表明:透析后的施威特曼石呈现出更为清晰的X射线衍射结构峰,并对其微观形貌有一定的影响,比表面积增大;未经透析的施威特曼石沉淀经老化后会逐步转化为黄钠铁矿,Fourier变换红外光谱中出现1010和1025cm–1附近的归属于OH弯曲振动的双峰,且因Na+进入晶格,SO42–的伸缩振动峰值发生偏移。
