Organic synthetic insulators, in foreign countries have two or three decades of development history. As the United States first used synthetic insulator in the mid 50s, the Federal Republic of Germany in 1967 developed composite insulators have been used in 27 countries. At present, there are tens of millions of synthetic insulators in the world and the longest operational life span has reached more than 10 years. The scope of application of composite insulators and insulating elements in the electrified railway catenary is gradually expanding, especially in low-clearance tunnels and is almost universally used. The segmented and phase-separated isolators also eliminated cumbersome brittle porcelain materials. In the late 1970s, China launched the epoxy resin insulator, later introduced silicon rubber insulator, into the 80’s, Zhengzhou
