某些不适于拜耳法氧化铝厂处理的低品位铝土矿,可用火法处理。此法在意大利蒙切卡齐尼公司马格勒港工厂附属氧化铝试验工厂(12000~15000吨/年)成功地使用着。特殊制备的生料系用烧结机烧结,熟料溶出后,铝酸钠溶液进行脱硅。全部操作过程都作了详细说明。本法适于处理低品位铝土矿(一水硬铝石,高硅、高有机物等),并可应用从拜耳法溶液中所回收的碳酸钠来调配生料。
Some of the low-grade bauxite not suitable for the Bayer process alumina plant can be treated by fire method. This method was successfully used at the alumina pilot plant attached to the Magellan Port Plant in Montcäcazini, Italy (12,000-15,000 t / y). Specially prepared raw materials are sintered with a sintering machine, after the clinker is dissolved out, the sodium aluminate solution is desiliconized. All the operations have been described in detail. This method is suitable for handling low grade bauxite (diaspore, high silica, high organics, etc.) and can be formulated with sodium carbonate recovered from Bayer solution.
