In order to systematically and promptly reflect the scientific research results of petroleum census exploration in our country, promote the development of petroleum geology science, raise the level of petroleum geological exploration and make contributions to the realization of the four modernizations. Scientific publishing society with the Chinese Petroleum Institute, Geological Society of China decided to organize the publication of “Petroleum Geology Series.” The review conference of one of the series “Structure and Evolution of Mesozoic-Cenozoic Basins in China” was held in Wuxi in late April. A total of 43 representatives from various fields such as petroleum institutes, research institutes and academia authors, Chinese Petroleum Society, Geological Society and Science Press attended this parliament.
