1988年《中华人民共和国水法》颁布后,水利部即确定每年的7月1日至7日为全国水法宣传周。6年来在各级人大和政府的大力支持下,在各级水行政主管部门的辛勤努力下,全国各地每年都在“水周”期间,掀起以水法为主要内容的水法规的宣传高潮,全国已有?亿人次接受了水法规宣传教育,为实施水法,依法治水,创造了良好的法制环境。
After the promulgation of the Water Law of the People’s Republic of China in 1988, the Ministry of Water Resources determined that July 1 to July 7 each year will be the National Water Law Publicity Week. With the vigorous support of the people’s congresses and governments at all levels and the water administrative departments at all levels over the past six years, the “wave of water” period throughout the country has set off the culmination of propaganda of water laws with the water law as the main content. There have been hundreds of millions of people throughout the country who have been educated in the water laws and regulations and have created a sound legal environment for the implementation of the water law and water control according to law.
