高等学校英语应用能力考试是主要面对高职高专学生的英语水平考试,主要考核学生以英语为工具、进行日常和一般业务交际的能力。但高职高专学生普遍英语基础较薄弱,不经过系统的考试辅导,很难通过考试。因此,在教学过程中要注意对其进行应试技巧的指导与训练,培养学生的解题能力,锻炼学生的英语听、说、读、写、译技能,从而进一步培养学生的英语实际应用能力。
The English Proficiency Test for Colleges and Universities is an English proficiency test mainly aimed at students in higher vocational schools and colleges. The main test is students’ ability to use English as a tool to conduct routine and general business communication. However, higher vocational college students generally weak English foundation, without the guidance of the system test, it is difficult to pass the exam. Therefore, in the process of teaching, we should pay attention to the guidance and training of examination skills, cultivate the ability of students to solve problems, train students’ English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills, so as to further develop their practical ability in English.
