According to traders and industry officials, China may purchase more U.S. soybeans in the first quarter due to difficulties encountered by Brazilian soybeans in passing GMO regulations in China. An official at the Ministry of Agriculture said that the Ministry of Agriculture has approved the import of Argentine soybean but has not yet approved the import of Brazilian soybeans. The official told Reuters that we have issued some temporary certificates of approval to import Argentine soybeans after December 20, but so far no approval certificate has been issued to Brazil because Brazil can not mention
