美国:时有新招.新手不断涌现从1908年的伦敦奥运会正式设立游泳比赛项目以来,泳坛在很长一段时间内一直是美国的一统天下。即便从1986年到1989年各国进入世界各项目前10名的好手人数来看,美国仍占到30％。但美国游泳界也面临着困境,在1986年的世界锦标赛和1988年的汉城奥运会上,他们所取得的成绩并不理想。实际上,美国游泳队在汉城奥运会夺得的8枚金牌,主要是靠比昂迪和埃文斯这两位名将。这是美国在历届奥运会上第一次只有一名男选手夺得个人项目金牌。
United States: New Tips and Tricks New Novices Emerge Ever since the formal establishment of a swimming competition at the London Olympics in 1908, the swimming community has been dominated by the United States for a long time. The United States still accounts for 30% of the total number of experts who entered each of the 10 countries in the world from 1986 to 1989. However, the swimming community in the United States is also facing difficulties, and they did not achieve satisfactory results in the 1986 World Championships and the 1988 Seoul Olympics. In fact, the eight gold medals won by the US swimming team at the Olympics in Seoul mainly depend on the likes of Bionde and Evans. This is the first time that the United States has won the gold medal in individual projects at any Olympic Games.
