湖北省谷城县观音坪铜矿区位于汉水西岸,武当山东段南缘,地理位置大致为东经111°24′,北纬32°13′。这是一古老矿区,老窿到处可见,开采历史悠久。矿床为中低温热液脉状铜矿床,矿体严格受构造控制。为了指导找矿工作,笔者试用地质力学方法,对该区的控矿构造特征及矿体展布规律,做一些分析研究,就教于各位读者。
Guanyinping Copper Mine in Gucheng County, Hubei Province is located in the west bank of Han River and the southern margin of the eastern section of Wudang Mountains. Its geographical location is roughly 111 ° 24’E and 32 ° 13’N. This is an ancient mining area, the old hole can be seen everywhere, mining has a long history. The deposit is a medium- and low-temperature hydrothermal vein-like copper deposit, and the ore body is strictly controlled by structure. In order to guide the prospecting work, the author tried the method of geomechanics to do some analysis and research on the features of ore-controlling structure and ore body distribution in the area and taught them to all readers.
