December 29, 2012, the second session of “Virtual Social Management Innovation and National Security ” Forum was held at the School of Public Administration of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The event was jointly organized by Huazhong University of Science and Technology School of Public Administration, Huazhong University of Science and Technology non-traditional security research center, “E-government” magazine. Professor Xu Xiaolin, Dean of the School of Public Administration at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, pointed out in his speech that the current virtual social governance has drawn great attention from the Central Government and has risen to a major strategy for the Central Party Committee.
